What Is Beta 2-Microglobulin
62B2M Fighting Heavy Metals & Healthy Blood/Brain Barriers
It would seem that everybody has the component "blood/brain barrier." As of late it seems that here has been a lot of interest in using Beta 2-Microglobulin, to expand our scientific knowledge of the blood/brain barrier. Brain toxicity has been the primary driving force in the quest for a better medical understanding of this human component.
Certain heavy metals can have a detrimental effect on brain function, and lead to potential brain damage. There is been some hope as of late, that B2M could aid in the detoxifying of those metals, by bonding with them and allowing the metals to depart the cranial cavity.
There are sever reasons for this optimism in using B2M. But the most promising would be the ubiquitous nature of Microglobulin in the barrier of the blood/brain and a individuals cerebrospinal fluid found in both the spinal column and brain.
Having high levels of B2M around the blood brain barrier and the cerebral spinal fluid many would assume there is oxidative damage of the blood/brain barrier. Or it may suggest a flaw in the functioning of that barrier brought on by excessive exposure to some nasty heavy metals.
If you haven't been listening to our esteemed health professionals and what they refer to as a "blood/brain barrier," here's a simple explanation. It is a imaginary wall designed to put a stop to the traveling of acids and bases that result in almost instant brain damage from minuscule pH changes to the protective liquid around the brain. It's commonly agreed upon, that very slight changes to an individuals pH will seriously affect ones well being.
This is of course why using B2M as a tool to deal with heavy metals toxicity affecting pH around the brain is of interest. Given the understated importance of the brain, it's easy to see why contamination of heavy metals or anything toxic should be prevented or treated. Mercury poisoning is nasty stuff.
As well, B2M research should lead to combating heavy metals and their affects in other essential organs of the body. The kidneys and liver, are just a couple that come to mind. The more research done, and B2M and it's role in controlling heavy metals, the healthier we will all be.
Excessive mercury exposure for patients can often mask other underlying diseases and make patient diagnosis difficult. The ramifications of this are obvious, as the course of treatment is sure to have undesired effects.
Recent research and education of medical professionals regarding B2M has resulted in an better understanding
by the medical profession. Not too many years ago, misdiagnosis was common which often led to other diseases and other neurodegenerative
conditions. Parkinson's Disease is just one such condition.
