Waverunner, Sea Doo, Polaris, Kawaski, Honda, Arcto Jet Ski Covers

There are numerous reasons to look into jet ski covers for your new Sea Doo, WaveRunner, Kawasaki, or other brand-name jet ski.  Jet skis are expensive investments, and will be exposed to a number of harsh elements and outdoor marine environment.  Not the least of those which will be the sun and its ultraviolet rays.  You especially want to be sure, the jet ski cover is appropriate for trailering  you're a jet ski.  Driving on the highway at 60 miles an hour with the jet ski in tow, and a protective cover absent, would be risky.  Stone chips, and other airborne debris from passing vehicles could seriously damage a jet ski.

There are a number of different manufacturers to choose from when it comes to jet ski covers.  You can of course go with OEM, or original equipment manufacturer covers.  But you may find, but by shopping around for third-party covers that you have more choices in quality and workmanship.  You will want to make sure that the cover is appropriate for your specific make and model jet ski.

Manufacturers

One of the manufacturers you want to consider, as a company called Covercraft.  They offer jet ski covers for just about every make and model of jet ski available.  They also offers a very durable fabrics in their covers.  Sunbrella, is one such material that they use.  This is top great stuff, but from past experience in installing canvas on my other boat, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.  They're tough and resilient over the years, as they rarely fade in the sun.  Even after having existing canvas, on my boat for almost 8 years, when I added new canvas of the same color your is almost indistinguishable from the old canvas.  Aquaguard, is another manufacture you should consider when shopping for covers.

Another manufacturer of high-quality jet ski covers, is Riva.  They tend to specialize in making covers for Honda jet skis.  The also sport a number of features, that all cover should have.  They provide easy access points for still being able to trailer your jet ski while fully covered.  Another nice to have feature, is a zipperable access panel for refueling you jet ski.  It makes sense that you can pull up to a gas station, with your jet ski in tow, and refuel it without having to take the whole cover off.

Yamaha is one of the companies that offers OEM manufacturer design covers specifically for the WaveRunner line of jet skis.  They've incorporated what they called, a Vacu-Hold feature into their covers.  This design criteria, allows for very snug fit of your cover on your jet ski, even in transit.  Meaning there'll be less wear and tear on your cover from wind pressure.  There's nothing worse, the looking in your review mirror, and watching your cover blow down the highway.  Additionally, you should spend less money on fuel hauling a jet ski around thanks to reduce wind resistance and aerodynamic drag.

Features & Options

Other features to consider any jet ski cover would be some of the following.  Ensure that you cover has a smug fit for safe transportation, but still allows for moisture to escape from underneath the cover.  Be sure to check out the warranty you get what you cover.  While high-quality materials such as Sunbrella, they make for a more expensive cover, it will last a lot longer than the two-year warranty offered by many of the cheaper covers.having a choice of colors is nice also.  There should be vents incorporated into the cover to offer good ventilation, and reduced windage while traveling.  A built-in storage bag or pouch is nice for incidentals or tools you may have for your jet ski.  Finally,  a convenient way of storing the cover  when not in use makes a lot of sense.

Consider where you plan on storing your jet ski.  If it's indoors, they can probably get away with a cheaper cover as long as you don't have to travel too far with it.  If your jet ski however will be stored outdoors, then I strongly recommend a higher quality and ultraviolet resilient cover.  Another good suggestion, we do take a look at some of the covers your colleagues have purchased.  I'm sure they could make some good recommendations about where and what to buy.
