Do Legitimate Get Rich Quick Schemes Exist?

Coming from someone who's been on the Internet since the early 1990s, I should warn you that I've seen more than my fair share of get rich quick schemes come and go.  In addition, I've been marketing and making money online for the past five years and during that time.  Th proliferation  of these get rich schemes seems to have expanded exponentially.  Specifically, since I'm in the business of making money online I seem to be the target of many of the promoters of these make tons of money working from home methods.

I think the only thing that's allowed me to survive this long, without losing my shirt would be my highly suspicious nature.  I'm not suggesting that all of these schemes and online marketing methods don't work, as it is quite possible to make a substantial amount of money online.  I know, as I've been making money online for years.  One thing a very acutely aware of, is that these promoters know exactly the right buttons to push, and what to say, to get you to open up your wallet.

I mean everybody wants to make money working from the comfort of their own home right?  This little phrase gets hyped way way too much.  When you like to attain financial security and independence, so your family can have all those wonderful material possessions you know they can't live without?  That's a great marketing angle, as it touches a lot of buttons and emotions and all of us.  Now, heaven forbid that we should have to work long and hard for this money.  Everyone knows that it's quite possible to get rich quickly working online.  Yet right!  Although maybe a few lucky souls who do manage to make fast money online, for most of us is a lot of work over long period of time.  It's just like running a business, and there are too many businesses that become overnight successes, without many years four months of hard work perceiving that success.

And then of course, some of these promoters use the marketing angle where they instill a sense of fear that you're going to lose out on the chance of a lifetime if you don't buy within the next 10 minutes.  These tricks like making the offer available to only a limited number of people, or promised that the prices will go up in the next 24 hours substantially to entice you to buy today.  Well, if you come across any offers to employ those tactics, I suggest you turn and run away as quickly as possible.

The good news, is there is plenty of places where you can find free information on making money online are making money at home, or getting rich running your own online business.  You will however have to spend some time looking around and doing some research on your own.  There are plenty of discussion groups, forums and people around the Internet that are willing to talk about and share their methods for making money online.

What I would suggest, is spent some time getting to know a few of the people in building a network of friends you can trust and bounce ideas off of.  There's no need to spend money on websites, software or other tools to get you started in the online marketing world. The best thing you can do to protect yourself from all the less scrupulous marketers out there as to increase your own information and knowledge about how things work.  That way, you be able to recognize the truly once-in-a-lifetime legitimate make money quick schemes, and the scammers.
